COMPETITIONS
Kilmacolm Tennis Club enters a number of inter-club competitions throughout the year, giving players the opportunity to represent the club across a range of age groups and formats.
In a typical year, the club enters Gents’, Ladies’ and Mixed Doubles teams into several West of Scotland competitions, including:
- Summer Open Doubles
- 60 & Over Doubles
- 70 & Over Ladies’ Doubles
- 40 & Over Winter Doubles
- 60 & Over Winter Doubles
- Monday Floodlight League Winter Doubles
- Junior Youth League
West of Scotland Summer League
In 2026, Kilmacolm entered seven teams into the West of Scotland Summer Open Tennis Doubles Leagues:
3 Gents’ teams and 4 Ladies’ teams
The club also entered four teams into the 2026 Senior Doubles Competitions:
1 Gents’ 60 & Over team, 2 Ladies’ 60 & Over teams, and, for the first time, 1 Ladies’ 70 & Over team.

Junior Tennis
2026 marks the return of junior competitive tennis at Kilmacolm after many years.
The club is delighted to have entered the Junior Youth League, giving younger players the chance to experience team competition and represent Kilmacolm.

Youth League & National League - Summer 2026
Winter Tennis
Kilmacolm remains active in inter-club competitions throughout the winter season, with a strong number of teams taking part in competitive doubles.
In 2025, the club entered the following winter competitions:
- 2 Gents’ 40 & Over teams
- 4 Ladies’ 40 & Over teams
- 1 Gents’ 60 & Over team
- 1 Ladies’ 60 & Over team
A Mixed Doubles team also made its debut in the Monday Floodlight League in 2025, further increasing the range of competitive playing opportunities available to members.
